In celebration of our school’s 95th anniversary, Saint Benedict School will host its school wide Dance-a-thon on January 31st. These funds will help with capital improvements, like replacing our forty year old windows, which will help with our heating costs, and will also help us replace classroom lighting to energy efficient fixtures. Depending on success, we may also look into ductless air conditioning/heating once new windows are installed.

Goal: $200,000

We have edited our goal on this website to focus specifically on a goal for just our parish and school community. Prospective grant money will not be received until after the event is over. We still hope to reach $500,000 between donations and grants

During the event, we plan to have our school dancing all day long with different classes taking time slots in the auditorium. By doing this, Saint Benedict School will dance the entire day away as we raise funds for our beloved school.

Student Benchmark Awards:

$500 - One Week Dress Down (Designated Week TBD) & Dance-A-Thon Shirt

$1,000 - Student Dedication Brick Tile in Main Hallway + Awards Above

$1,500 - Invitation to Dance-a-thon Hall of Fame Dinner and Awards Night (Student + Two Guests) + Awards Above

Top 5 Students for this Fundraiser will become "Principal for a Day"

The benchmarks for siblings cannot be used for cousins or any other combination of family members.

Dress Down Week + two shirts - $800 ($200 off)

Two brick tiles + awards above -$1,800 ($200 off)

Hall of Fame Dinner for two kids, mom, and dad + above - $2,700 ($300 off)

Family of 3 Kids

Dress Down Week + Three Shirts - $1,200 ($300 off)

Three brick tiles + awards above - $2,700 ($300 off)

Local Merchants:

Do you know a merchant willing to donate?

For $250, a vendor will receive thank you cards written and decorated by students.

For $500, a vendor will have their name printed on our dance-a-thon shirts + $250 reward.

For $1,000, vendor will have a banner at our dance-a-thon day along with being printed on our shirts and featured on our school website's sponsors page + $250 and $500 rewards.

Help from our local vendors will get us one step closer to our goal!

Alumni:

Any alumni group raising a combined $5,000 can dedicate a classroom in memory of a classmate, teacher, or family member. Please inform Ben Piacquadio of person you would like to dedicate a classroom to so that a page can be specifically created for you to share and solicit donations.

**We encourage check submissions to avoid website and credit card fees being taken away from our fundraising efforts. Checks should be written to Saint Benedict Church with Dance-a-thon on the memo line.**
