The Champlain Valley Redhawk Football team will host its 1st team-wide LIFT-A-THON Saturday, August 19th, 2023. 

During the event, each player will complete bench press and dead lifts for maximum reps. We are looking for sponsors to pledge per rep or make a one-time DONATION.

Expect each player to average 30-50 reps in total. For the safety of our players, the maximum total reps allowed will be 50. Please help us reach our goal!

CVU Football will host its 1st ever LIFT-A-THON on Saturday, August 19th, 2023! The CVU Football team is growing!! With the success we’ve known in recent seasons, more and more young athletes are expressing an interest in playing Redhawk Football. And we want to provide as many as possible with that experience! In order to do so, we need to provide our players with the equipment (from head to toe) and facilities that promote safety, opportunity, and growth as athletes, as students, as individuals and as a team. Additionally, and even more important … we want to ensure that a family’s financial circumstance will not be an obstacle to playing the game these athletes love.  

What is a Lift-A-Thon?

A Lift-A-Thon is an opportunity for players to come together as teammates to fundraise and raise money for their team and program … all while doing something they are passionate about!

How does it work?

During the event, each participating athlete will complete deadlifts as well as bench press to determine their combined maximum number of reps.  

Who can be a sponsor? 

Anyone can sponsor. And can do it from near or far! We encourage participants to reach out to family, friends and neighbors for sponsorship.
