IS 34 PTA Shoot-A-Thon!

It’s time for our annual Basketball Shoot-A-Thon!

Our #ShootAThon is one of our largest PTA Fundraisers of the year.

ALL PROCEEDS will go DIRECTLY towards supporting our school community! This year we are specifically targeting the funds to update our air-conditioners and purchase equipment for our NEW TV Studio!

The concept is simple, EVERY Staff Member and Student will take 30 shots (from different spots on the basketball court).

Participants are SPONSORED with a PLEDGE for each made basket OR... SPONSORS can simply make a ONE TIME DONATION in ANY Participants Name.

Sponsors can pledge anything from .25 cents to $10 a made basket OR make a one-time donation in any denomination ($5, $10, $100).

The Shoot-A-Thon will take place during the school day, the week of November:

- 8th grade – MONDAY 11/20

- 7th Grade – TUESDAY 11/21

- 6th Grade – WEDNESDAY 11/22

Individual Incentives:

- Any Student that raises at least $25 will receive either credit for a School Sanctioned Event or 4 Hours of Internal Service.

- The TOP THREE Earners in EACH GRADE will receive

-3rd Place - $25 Amazon Gift Card

-2nd Place - $50 Amazon Gift Card

-1st Place - $100 Amazon Gift Card

-  The THREE TOP EARNERS in the school (regardless of grade) will receive a catered lunch in the cafeteria for him/herself and up to FIVE FRIENDS from the restaurant of their choice!

- Additionally the following individual incentives have been put into place:

1. $150 gets you coupon for (4) Free Ice Cream/Pretzel/CANDY/ Donut Fridays during lunch.

2. $250 wins a pizza at your table on a Friday during lunch (in December) to be shared with friends or devoured by yourself.

3. $400 earns A Fast Food Friday in December for you and a buddy at lunch (McDonalds, Popeye’s etc.)

4. $500 earns a FREE PASS for Each Ice Cream/Pretzel/CANDY/Donut Friday for the entire school year.

5. $600 VIP Seating (rows 2-6) at Graduation, Awards Night and Arista (2 tickets per event) - if not graduating this reward can be saved for your graduation year.

6. ALL students that raise $700 will win a private, movie theater (and you get to bring 2 friends) and all you can eat snacks to see the Taylor Swift Movie at the Atrium Movie Theater. This reward will have a timeline. You must hit the goals by Wednesday 1st, 2023. The show will take place on Friday November 3rd, 2023.

Homeroom Incentives:

- The Top fundraising HOMEROOM (ex 601, 705, and 813) on EACH GRADE will receive a Class Pizza Party

Grade Incentives:

- The Grade (6th, 7th or 8th) that raises the most money will receive a Spring Fling Carnival and Dance Party on our Field (during the school day) - DJ, Treats, Games, Fun for ALL

The TWO Grades with the HIGHEST Participation Rate will get to Choose between TWO rewards:

*****TAPE Mr. Mancusi to the Wall during Lunch. He will remain there for the duration of the Lunch Period!

*****Monthly Café Dance Party Fridays with props

The grade with The Highest Participation Rate will choose first.

The second place grade will receive whichever reward is left over.

·    For the purpose of this contest the highest participation rate will be defined as the highest percentage of students in the grade that raise at least $5 per student.

School Wide HOMEWORK Incentives:

- If we raise $10,000 our EAGLES will earn NO HOMEWORK during the Thanksgiving Break!

- If we raise $15,000 our EAGLES will earn NO HOMEWORK during December’s Holiday Break!

- If we raise $20,000 our EAGLES will earn NO HOMEWORK during February Break!

- If we raise $25,000 our EAGLES will earn NO HOMEWORK during Spring Break AND Any Long Weekend or Break for the ENTIRE SCHOOL YEAR!

Staff Incentives:

- If our staff collectively raises at least $5000 they will receive a PD FREE Month of June

- Mr. Boyle will personally donate a catered lunch for up to four people to the Top Fundraising Staff Member
