About

Hoops for Nets is an event created by Andover High School students Justice Williams and Matthew Brodeur designed to raise money to purchase nets that protect against the spread of malaria.

Hoops for Nets will host a Shoot-A-Thon on November 1th at Andover High School and all proceeds from this event will go to Nothing But Nets, and organization partnering with the United Nations to send malaria nets to children and families in Africa. This year the Hoops for Nets program will specifically be raising money for nets for children in Chad, Africa.

The Shoot-A-Thon is open to all players that are participating in the Andover Boys and Girls Traveling programs this year.

How the Event Works: Every player will shoot 50 free throws. We are asking for sponsors to pledge an increment of money for every made free throw. So, if you pledge $1.00 and the player makes 25 free throws, you would donate $25. Sponsors are also welcome to make one-time donations.
