Hi everyone! Welcome to my New Heights NYC Shoot-a-Thon fundraising page. New Heights NYC is an organization that aims to help NYC student-athletes succeed both in the classroom and on the hardwood.
Our mission is to educate and empower promising inner-city youth to be leaders, champions and student-athletes by developing the skills necessary for success in high school, college and life. New Heights creates opportunities and provides support for promising youth to fulfill their potential in the classroom, on the court and in the community.
While New Heights is broadly recognized as a national level basketball program, what’s even more impressive is their educational successes:
• 100% high school graduation rate since 2005
• 365 student-athletes placed in college prep high schools
• 271 New Heights high school graduates (98%) have matriculated to college
• 75% college graduation rate for New Heights students since 2005
I have been involved with New Heights since 2011 and have been the Co-Chairman of the Emerging Leaders Council (the junior board) since its inception. Through the years, I have coached, mentored and tutored many talented student-athletes.
General Managers have joined a New Heights team to help them raise the funds needed to provide New Heights’ signature year-round integrated youth-development program College Bound and for the 2016 basketball season.
Please help me reach my goal! Every dollar raised will benefit college-bound student-athletes. You can show your support by making a one-time donation now or by making a pledge per made free throw. You can also attend the event on May 14th (see information below)!

Support a college bound student-athlete today!
On Saturday, May 14, 2016, the New Heights Basketball Program will host it’s 3rd Annual Team Challenge Shoot-A-Thon at St. Raymond High School.
Every student-athlete will shoot 100 free throws. We are looking for sponsors for every MADE free throw. You can PLEDGE anything from .10 cents to 10 dollars per basket made or make a one-time DONATION.
All proceeds will fund New Heights’ signature year-round integrated youth-development program College Bound and the 2016 basketball season.
