Kauai Lynx Basketball Free Throw Challenge 2016

During the week of December 19th the Kauai Lynx Girls Basketball Team will host its team wide Free Throw Challenge!

During practice every athlete will shoot 100 free throws. We are looking for sponsors for every MADE free throw. You can PLEDGE anything from .25 cents to 10 dollars per basket made or make a one-time DONATION.

In July 2017, our teams will be travelling to Las Vegas, Nevada to compete in the Las VegasClassic and The Grand Finale...

We believe a chance to play in this type of environment will assist them with improving their knowledge of basketball and hopefully lead to educational opportunities.

We are raising funds to help us support our players. Through this free throw challenge, it is our goal to raise funds that will assist us to raise the necessary funds that to provide air, transportation, and accommodations for our athletes for this 10 day trip. Kauai Lynx Basketball

Welcome to the Giving Zone of the Kauai Lynx Girls Basketball. Kauai Lynx was established in 2015 to promote girls basketball here on Kauai, Hawaii. We believe that with a positive environment our young athletes will grow and improve their position skills and self-confidence, while instilling in them a strong work ethic, and developing character that lasts a lifetime. We are focused through leagues, skills training, tournaments and community service, that each athlete reaches her own individual potential; learn to compete with teamwork, good sportsmanship, and a positive winning attitude. More importantly, it is our hope through basketball and the many life lessons learned we will build a champion in each of their own lives. Our organization does not turn anyone away who wants to join our program. Many of our players are from the Lihue District and practices at Chiefess Kamakaheli Middle School and/or Pua Loke Park in Lihue, Kauai.
