WHAT?
OLQMCA will hold its 14TH ANNUAL WALKATHON on Friday October 6th , 2023. Students will walk together for one hour in the Forest Hills neighborhood followed by refreshments and an award ceremony.
WHERE?
Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Academy – Forest Hills Gardens Neighborhood
WHEN?
Friday October 6th, 2023 from 1:15pm to 3:00pm
WHY?
Fundraising is critical to help maintain the quality and affordability of a Catholic school education and to enable OLQMCA to make needed school investments.
GOAL?
The goal of this year’s event is to raise $25,000. Funds raised will go towards meeting operational expenses to continue to keep our school safe and beautiful for our students.
HOW?
Each student will raise funds by inviting potential sponsors (family, friends, and neighbors) to contribute a tax-deductible donation. Students and classes will also have an opportunity to compete for several prizes and awards based on their participation in the Walkathon.
EARLY BIRD INDIVIDUAL PRIZES
Each Student that receives $25.00 in donations on or before Sept 29th, 2023 will receive one NUT Day Voucher.
Top Fundraiser in School * receives one $100 Visa Gift Card
Second Highest Fundraiser * receives one $50 Visa Gift Card
Third Highest Fundraiser * receives one $25 Visa Gift Card
Highest-Fundraiser in Each Class (excluding Top Three Fundraisers for the School) * receives one $25 Visa Gift Card
